I just decided to check the weather forecast for our
trip when I came across the warning below. It looks like our first night
on the trip will be camping in the middle of record breaking heat for the
Colorado River Valley! We will not be deterred though.
I hope it ain't too hot in the Joshua Tree. Really cool here this morning...I do not say that to rub it in, but as a lead it to the antics of Wawa and the Carolina Wrens. She likes to sit and look out the patio door when I have it open...this morning both birds were out there fussing at her. Probably by this time next week they will be gone and she, and we, can have our deck back.
